Pregnant Pickle LTD was founded by Nicola Hinds in 2022 following her own experience with pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the workplace. Pregnant Pickle is here to provide free support, resources and guidance to new and expectant parents who are struggling to understand their rights in the workplace whilst pregnant or after birth.
We are also here to work with employers to help them improve their knowledge and understanding of pregnancy and maternity discrimination through training packages available to purchase from within our products and services section. Our mission is- to have society and the workplace respect the rights of all pregnant women and new parents.

Establishing a good work life balance is good for business. In today’s challenging economic climate, it’s crucial for organisations – big and small – to consider effective and innovative ways of working. Family/employee-friendly policies and an agile approach to work are key tools to maximise talent potential, increase engagement, raise productivity, improve morale, reduce your employee turnover and create equality in your workplace.
Our mission is to promote women’s rights in the workplace and to maintain a safe space for women’s voices to be heard. At Pregnant Pickle we support all women.
Our vision is to educate and empower pregnant women and new parents to speak out against prejudice and provide them with information and advice to assert their rights. We are here to educate and influence employers to support working mothers in the workplace through bespoke training and resources with an agenda to reduce pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the workplace.
Our values are to have society and the workplace respect the rights of all pregnant women and new parents, in order to eradicate people’s prejudice during pregnancy. We will do this by being open with our findings, honest in our alliances and operate with integrity.
Pregnant Pickle has a diverse funding model which includes grants from trusts and foundations, donations from individuals, events, project-based work with organisations, delivering workshops and training programmes for employers as well as resources and merchandise to purchase.
